Vladivostok fortress museum

The fortress included a complex of defensive fortifications, and developed infrastructure. The permanent structures projected in 1899, are very similar to reinforcings of Port Arthur. The structures of fortress built in 1910—1917 had not analogs in the world. Under the engineering decisions they anticipated modern condition of engineering idea on 15—20 years. The foreign experts from legion of the interventionists have recognized its structures “as a miracle of engineering art” of Russian.
Currently Vladivostok Fortress is a monument of national significance. Museum "Vladivostok fortress " is located in the heart of of the city of Vladivostok, near the Sportivnaya embankment, on an Bezimyannaya hill. On the museum grounds overlook the Amur Bay and the central part of the city of Vladivostok.
